Even if you’re not ready to invest in real estate right now, there’s still something you can do to prepare yourself.

And that’s to keep learning!

I’m doing this, too!

No matter how far I’ve come as an investor, I never stop learning! I’m forever a student, especially in this current market.

So, what am I doing to learn right now?

  • I’ve been reading and educating myself about creative financing strategies.

  • I’ve met with 2 of my mentors and called 3 of my lenders.

  • This year, I went to two conferences and I was able to network and attend sessions on topics I wanted to know more about!

The great thing is, there are plenty of resources out here to help you learn! Here are my suggestions:

  • Listen to podcasts like On the market and Bigger Pockets. I listen to these podcasts to stay up to date with market news and real estate in different markets.

  • Attend conferences (like Bigger Pockets or InvestHer) and local meetups to network and learn strategies from other real estate investors.

  • Take real estate courses! If you’re looking for one, sign up for the Investor Roadmap course!
