The Holiday season is for slowing down, listening to your favorite Christmas music and spending time with your family and friends. During this time I’m looking forward to sitting by the fire and baking with my boys.

Because we are Unschoolers we believe that learning is always happening and the Holiday season, when most schools are closed, it is no different!

For us, school is not limited to a calendar or a schedule. My kids are taking in life and learning all of the time! This month our lifestyle of curiosity and exploring will not end because we are “Off.” Because I’m taking off for the month we will have even more time to learn and explore everything that life throws our way!

Some fun things that my boys enjoy during this time are making videos and short family films, watching our favorite movies and documentaries, reading books and going on hikes when we’re at the cabin.

Learning never stops for us and the Holidays are no different!
