A couple of weeks ago I spent the most incredible time in Los Angeles with a group of like minded business owners on a retreat.

I met this amazing group of people in February this year via zoom through a mastermind program that I was apart of.

Prior to us meeting in person the calls were okay.. Engagement was low and we rarely spoke in our private chat channel in between calls.

In March of this year we had our first In Person Retreat!

The retreat was so impactful! We got a chance to learn more about one another and our businesses. We learned each others goals and mission and discovered that we had more in common thay we would have imagined.

We left engerized with lots of great takeways and action items!

After the retreat-

Our slack channel was super engaged!

We started a group chat and began texting one another, sending life updates and sharing resources with each other on a weekly basis!

Even though the company mastermind that we were apart of ended aburptly (Not our choice) we decided that the group was so vaulable that we would just continue on our own!

Now we are in LA, growing our businesses together, working together and building life long vaulable relationships.

– It was hard leaving my family back home

– After traveling for almost a month it was hard leaving my team back home

– Paying for an inflated plane ticket wasn’t money that I planned to spend.

Here is what I’m leaving my retreat with:

– I was able to gain focus, and uninterrupted time to dream, plan, and work on my business without the distractions of life

– I was able to discuss resources with other savvy business owners and gained new tips to help me save time and money in my business. (For example, I learned that I can set up short term disablity for my employees to cover maternity leave for only $80 a month. This tip alone will save me over $10,000!!!!)

– I was coached by an expert on a subject matter that was an obstacle for me in my business

– I slept in!

– I ate great food and fellowshiped with amazing people!

Instead of focusing on what you will lose focus on how much more you will gain!
